Frank Teruel has been hired as the new Chief Financial Officer of Arkose Labs, the industry leader in bot management and account security. Teruel will be a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team and will report to CEO Kevin Gosschalk.

Teruel will be in charge of the Corporate Services Organization and other major projects in his new position. He will be in charge of improving the company’s financial procedures and safeguards so that they can keep up with the company’s rapid expansion and maintain its high profitability.
After serving as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of the finance organization at Mitek Systems Inc. Teruel now leads the finance and corporate services organization at Arkose Labs. Teruel has more than 20 years of experience working in the cybersecurity and identity industries. Previously, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer at ADARA, a company that is recognized as a pioneer in the field of predictive consumer intelligence due to the permissions data and verified identification platform it offers. In his capacity as General Manager and Senior Vice President of ThreatMetrix, he was instrumental in establishing and directing the company’s eventual $830 million sale to RELX. RELX is a global leader in real estate investment and management.

Teruel is a staunch advocate of acquiring new knowledge throughout one’s life. As a way to give back to the community and help mold the next generation of business leaders, he has spent the last 11 years working as an adjunct professor in the MBA program at Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business, a position he still maintains to this day. In this capacity, he is responsible for teaching a variety of subjects.
