In their recent Fusion conference, D2L, a global learning tech organization announced that they would be acquiring the H5P group, the leading Edtech provider for interactive content online.
The aim of this acquisition was to provide learners with a better learning experience. D2L is dedicated to the learning moment and will contribute to the HP5 community which creates cutting-edge rich HTML5 content.
CEO and founder, John Baker, was quoted as saying: “Our (D2L’s) mission has always been to bring outstanding, highly personalized learning experiences to everyone, and this is another big step towards it.”
With this acquisition, D2L aims to create a space for learners that is unmatched in experience.
