DDN®, the global leader in artificial intelligence (AI) and multi-cloud data management solutions, today announced it’s Life Sciences Field Day 2023, hosted by Helmholtz Munich on May 4, 2023, at the Helmholtz Munich campus.
Research in the life sciences continues to rapidly gain scientific importance and impact on society. New AI-based discovery methods find application in basic scientific research and clinical settings. In addition, the cross-pollination of different sub-disciplines promises to accelerate the time to discovery in strategic research projects.
Life Sciences Field Day 2023 is a unique opportunity for innovators, researchers, and industry leaders. The event brings together experts from science, pharmacy, biotechnology, and research institutions to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and solutions in the areas of life sciences data management, storage, and analysis.
“We are very excited to bring together leaders in life sciences research to gather and share knowledge, experiences, and best practices at Life Sciences Field Day 2023,” said Tommaso Cecchi, Senior Director of Sales EMEA, DDN. “With speakers from a range of industries, including agriculture, human genetics, and AI computing, attendees will have the opportunity to learn how these researchers and organizations succeeded and use those insights to advance their own data-driven discoveries.”
Attendees will be led by keynote speakers such as Dr. Fabian Theis, Director of the Institute for Computational Biology at Helmholtz Munich & the Technical University of Munich and winner of the Leibniz Prize 2023, the most prestigious research prize in Germany. In addition, attendees will hear from panelists, participate in live discussions, and tour the Helmholtz campus in Munich.
“Helmholtz Munich is dedicated to developing solutions for a healthier future, and our cutting-edge research is the springboard for medical innovation,” said Dr. Alf Wachsmann, Head of DigIT Infrastructure & Scientific Computing, Helmholtz Munich. “We are honored to host Life Sciences Field Day 2023 with the goal of accelerating the transfer of ideas into applications with experts from across the life sciences community.”
