Gestalt Diagnostics is honored to have placed 1st in both international challenges. Hundreds of groups participated in each challenge, and Gestalt’s algorithms achieved the highest ranking.
In September 2022, Gestalt was awarded 1st place in MICCAI’s Automatic Registration of Breast Cancer Tissue Challenge.
On April 18, 2023, Gestalt was named a 1st place winner in PAIP’s “Tumor Cellularity Prediction in Pancreatic Cancer and Colon Cancer” challenge. Gestalt’s algorithm had an ICC score of 0.9764 with an efficiency of almost 98%.
International challenges allow companies like Gestalt to collaborate with peers on their development, competing on topics such as theory, application, and approach and finally being judged on what matters most, the accuracy of the algorithm when applied and scientifically verified.
“These challenges are an excellent opportunity to compare and validate the techniques Gestalt uses to develop cutting-edge image analysis algorithms that support the diagnostic workflow of physicians using our digital pathology platform,” said Brian Napora, Gestalt VP, KI- Solutions.
