Genedata, a leading SaaS company for biopharmaceutical research and development, has recently announced that GSK, a biopharma company, has extended its use of Genedata Biologics® to new areas in data sciences, analytics, and R&D automation.
They have migrated their on-premise version of Biologics to Genedata’s SaaS platform. This gives them many benefits that cloud hosting offers. They are integrating data workflows for the design, production, screening, characterization, and engineering of novel biotherapeutics. They are also developing features to handle bi and multi-specific modalities, says Steve Martin, Ph.D., VP and Head of Large Molecule Discovery.
“Since its initial deployment in 2013, Genedata Biologics has become a core part of GSK’s Large Molecule Discovery team’s antibody discovery data platform, automating lab operation and data stream from diverse discovery projects”, writes Genedata.
With real-time access to critical data of scientists, managers, and executives, the tool promotes collaboration within and across projects.
