StarTree Appoints Jeff Miller as CRO to Lead Go-to-Market Strategy

Jeff Miller has been appointed as the company’s new chief revenue officer, as per StarTree Inc.’s pioneer in real-time and user-facing analytics (CRO). As StarTree enters its next growth phase, Miller will oversee its go-to-market strategy across Sales, Revenue Operations, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product-Led Growth. This phase will be devoted to accelerating growth, developing new products, and increasing the number of businesses that use StarTree’s real-time analytics platform.

Miller is an accomplished leader with over two decades of experience building and directing high-performing sales teams and rapidly expanding businesses in the data and open-source technology sectors. Cockroach Labs is a cloud-native, distributed SQL database platform. He was recently the chief revenue officer there, overseeing the company’s growth to Series F and a $5 billion valuation thanks to the addition of more than 250 clients. Formerly, he was Hortonworks’ senior vice president of sales, during which time the firm had record growth, reaching $100 million in annualized recurring revenue (ARR) and an initial public offering (IPO).

StarTree reached a significant milestone in 2022, expanding its client base by ten times and income by four times. Over 2 million downloads of the open-source Apache Pinot project occurred that year, which increased by a factor of five from the previous year.

Stripe, DoorDash, Eats, and Guitar Center are among the company’s notable clientele.
