Public Sector Companies May Contract with ZeroEyes at Competitive Rates Without a Protracted Request for Bid Process Thanks to a Cooperative Buying Agreement

ZeroEyes, developers of the first AI-based gun detection video analytics technology with a SAFETY Act Designation from the US Department of Homeland Security, said today that NCPA (National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance), an OMNIA Partners firm, has given them a cooperative contract. Under the collaboration, NCPA will give public sector organizations access to contracts for ZeroEyes’ artificial intelligence (AI) gun detection technologies that have been pre-negotiated at a discount.

State and local governments, K–12 and higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations can save money and time by utilizing the cooperative buying agreement rather than creating their own RFP (request for proposal) procedure.

Every single cooperative buying agreement offered by NCPA and OMNIA Partners is publicly granted by a lead agency in accordance with the relevant procurement rules and guidelines. After a thorough solicitation procedure, Region 14 ESC (Education Service Center) selected ZeroEyes as the winner of this exclusive contract.

“We are proud to add ZeroEyes to our robust portfolio of high-quality cooperative contracts,” said Doug Looney, Senior Vice President, Public Sector Sales, OMNIA Partners. “Participating organizations can now adopt ZeroEyes’ proactive A.I. gun detection and response technology without the stress of a lengthy and costly procurement process.”

“Our goal is to protect as many American lives as possible from gun-related violence,” said Mike Lahiff, CEO and co-founder of ZeroEyes. “We are happy to enter this cooperative purchasing agreement to encourage increased adoption of ZeroEyes’ technology within the public sector. Simplifying the contractual process and making it more efficient and cost-effective, this enables us to focus our time and resources on what truly matters: saving lives.”

Hundreds of thousands of exclusive photos and videos were utilised to train ZeroEyes’ A.I. to become the most thorough gun detection system on the market. ZeroEyes was formed by a group of former Navy SEAL squad leaders and developers. In order to provide accurate and actionable intelligence on gun-related incidents for situational awareness, including the gunman’s appearance, clothing, weapon, and last known real-time location, former U.S. military and law enforcement specialists verify every detection from the in-house ZeroEyes Operations Center (ZOC) 24/7/365. In addition, ZeroEyes’ AI doesn’t collect, record, store, or distribute any videos or photographs of any type or conduct any facial recognition.

The largest and most seasoned cooperative buying organization in the country devoted to public sector procurement is OMNIA Partners, Public Sector. OMNIA Partners is the most appreciated and relied-upon resource for enterprises across the country because to its enormous purchasing power and network of suppliers that includes some of the best in the business.

In more than 30 states, ZeroEyes is being used by K–12 school systems, commercial real estate organizations, shopping centers, houses of worship, hospitals, military posts, manufacturing facilities, casinos, and Fortune 500 campuses.
